Green Our Walls is a community-powered initiative reimagining sidewalks, alleys, and storefronts as green, inclusive and climate-resilient public spaces.

In too many neighborhoods, sidewalks are hot, harsh, and hostile. They don’t have to be. Green Our Walls brings nature, color, and community back to our everyday streetscapes—installing green walls, vertical gardens, murals, and art to soften walls, spark joy and create safer, more walkable neighborhoods.

We believe our public walls and sidewalks are more than just infrastructure—they’re opportunities to grow belonging.

Our Vision:
By 2028, as the world turns its attention to Los Angeles during the Olympics, we envision a map of transformed corridors across the city—each one a living, breathing symbol of neighborhood pride and
